Ad Reviews
Advertising Review promotes truth in advertising to enhance consumer confidence in businesses that advertise. Following are cases that represent recent advertising review matters your BBB pursued. Challenges made by the BBB, using the BBB Code of Advertising, result from information given by consumers, competitors and through the BBB's own monitoring efforts. The fact that a particular business responds to a BBB challenge is a compliment to their willingness to cooperate with the BBB's self-regulatory process and not to be taken as an admission of impropriety on any advertiser's part.

Announcing the Marketing Help Desk for BBB Members

As we all enjoy the warmth and activities of summer, our attention at the BBB is focused on the fall, when we will unveil a new and exciting image campaign for the BBB and its members. This national branding initiative will ignite a new sense of relevance for our standards, which must be met for a company to become a member of our exclusive business association.

In the coming months, you will see a new BBB logo, a tag line that will reinforce the stature of our members, and a stronger web presence throughout Iowa, the Quad Cities, the Siouxland region, and the nation. Most importantly, we will expand the detailed information we have on each company in our Reliability Reports so that consumers — potential customers of yours — will see how you stack up against competition. More than ever, your membership in the BBB will have meaning and value.
